Standardized and clear information and data are critical for CRE’s successful transition to increased sustainability. Join our expert panelists to learn more about the development of climate risk and resilience standards across all CRE property types. A new ASTM standard for climate risk and resilience, expected to be completed next year, should facilitate the ESG transition. Our panelists will share the evolving work related to building resilience, assessment of site-specific vulnerabilities, and the types of climate hazards reflected in these standards – and how developing a “common language” can help all transaction parties communicate and understand a property’s key climate characteristics. Our panelists will also discuss how these assessments are currently being used by equity investors, and potential implications for the commercial real estate finance space.
