With almost two decades of experience in the cultural communications sector, Melissa has broad experience in developing communications for clients—from creating long-range strategic plans to managing day-to-day questions, concerns, and crises.

Prior to founding Parsoff Communications in 2020, Melissa served as the Vice President of Communications at the High Line where she oversaw the organization’s media relations, digital communications, marketing, creative services, and internal communications functions. From 2012-2018, she was the Director of Communications and Marketing at Dia Art Foundation and before that she served as a Vice President at Polskin Arts & Communications Counselors.

Melissa earned her bachelor’s degree in art history and sociology from Emory University and her Master’s Degree in Arts Management from Columbia University.
