A native of Illinois, Victoria Kent attended Illinois State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Psychology in 2005. After graduation, she accepted a position at a boutique publishing PR firm, before landing at The Merchandise Mart in Chicago, where she worked on local and national design-focused trade shows.
