Alice Pelton is the CEO and Founder of The Lowdown, the world's first review platform for contraception dubbed the ‘Trip Advisor for The Pill’. She studied at the London School of Economics, before working in strategy and product management at the publisher News UK.

Alice set up The Lowdown in 2019 after she suffered from side effects from the contraceptive pill throughout her twenties. Since launching, The Lowdown has gone from strength to strength collecting over 5,000 reviews from people on every method and brand of contraception whilst expanding to include a specialist telemed consultation service and prescription service for the pill.
