A native of Canada, Ashley Brissette MD MSc FRCSC ABO received her medical training and masters degree from McGill University (Great Distinction) and Queen’s University in Canada. She then completed an advanced fellowship program in cornea, cataract & laser vision surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. She was then recruited to stay on as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology. Dr. Brissette has received many professional awards and research grants including the Millennial Eye One to Watch, the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery Excellence Award, the Ontario Medical Association Achievement Award and the Physicians Services Incorporated Research Award Grant.
