Danny leads Zenefits’ people and talent functions, playing a key role in leading company culture and employee experience with leverage from the Zenefits People Operations Platform. Danny also built and launched Zenefits’ Advisory Services offering. Before joining Zenefits, Danny served in people and operational leadership roles in the tech, staffing, construction, and logistics industries. Danny serves on the Future of the HR Function advisory board at HR.com and shares his experience through the POPS! People Ops podcast. Danny earned a BS in Economics from Santa Clara University.
Tech-wise [for onboarding], and this is something that predated the pandemic, we use Zenefits. It’s software that we create for our customers and we use it internally as well. I’ve forced countless people in prior history to sit in a room with a binder full of tax forms and fill that out [on their first few days of a new job]. So it makes a lot of that stuff easy to get done even before Day One.
