Dawn Fitch is a Health Advocate, Speaker, Author, and Founder/CEO of award-winning bath & body company Pooka Pure & Simple. Originally a graphic artist by trade, Dawn’s life took a drastic turn when she was diagnosed with autoimmune disease, Multiple Sclerosis. Her diagnosis inspired her to adopt a healthier lifestyle, and she began making her own natural products for personal use. Dawn began sharing her unique handmade products with the world after some encouragement from family and friends, and her company ‘Pooka Pure & Simple’ was born soon after. Today, Pooka has been in operation for over 20 years, and her artisanal creations can be found online and in Whole Foods stores nationwide.

Dawn has been recognized as a leader in her field and a recipient of various awards including, The Influencer Award for Entrepreneurship given by the Urban League, the Black Executive Award given by the African American Chamber of Commerce, and an Agent of Change Award from the National Council of Negro Women. She has also been a speaker and panelist for noted events including the Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Conference, Girl Scouts of America Gold Awards, and National Black MBA Associations’ National Conference. Dawn and her handmade bath & body products have graced the cover of Black Enterprise magazine, and been featured on/in The Today Show, QVC/HSN, ESSENCE, The New York Times, & more.
