Elizabeth Hanes RN built a $2 million coaching business in 20 months - which speaks as much to the current state of nursing in the US as it does to her expertise as an entrepreneur. Her business, RN2writer, teaches other nurses (and all healthcare professionals) how to become freelance writers. Hanes' branding leans on her own reputation as a six-figure freelance writer known professionally as "the nurse who knows content." During her writing career, Beth won an Online Journalism Award for "best commentary" for "Dad Has Dementia," her 36-week chronicle (produced for Caring.com) of caring for her father as he declined and died of dementia. She has spoken as an expert writer at Content Marketing World and has appeared on numerous podcasts to discuss writing, content marketing, and other topics.

Beth is qualified to speak to the topics of nursing, healthcare, entrepreneurship, health writing, freelance writing, content marketing, journalism, health journalism, reporting, business, Facebook advertising, sales funnels and more.

Beth holds both a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) degree and a Creative Writing degree from the University of New Mexico. Her clinical nursing experience included PACU (post-anesthesia care unit/recovery room) at a Level 1 trauma center, perioperative nursing, and plastic surgery nursing.

Aside from her work, Beth loves a good cocktail and enjoys throwing cocktail parties on her terrace at the foot of Albuquerque's Sandia Mountains, where she resides. Despite living in Breaking Bad country, Beth has never met Walter White or needed Saul Goodman.
