Vice President R&D at Tofurky. Kaufman, holder of a PhD in Soft Matter Science from Yale University, spent three years at Beyond Meat, where he served as a Senior Soft Matter Scientist, focusing on improving the texture and appearance of plant-based meats.
That’s how we made sure we were alive on the floor without being live. It was a little hard at the beginning to figure out how to do the video chatting on the manufacturing floor, but we figured that out and we solved so many problems in the production flow by doing things like that.
