Grayson James has been helping executives, boards and senior management teams improve their collaborative business performance for over 30 years. In addition to coaching senior executives and teams, he facilitates organizational change initiatives and provides collaborative leadership education internationally through his consulting firm, Grayson James Consultants, LLC + Full Contact Institute. He designed and leads the highly acclaimed Full Contact Collaboration workshops worldwide, and is the author of the forthcoming book, Full Contact Performance: The Internal Art of Organizational Collaboration.

A certified ontological coach and former co-leader of professional and business coaching training programs in the U.S., Latin America and Europe, Grayson has taught alternative conflict resolution training and served as a professional court-appointed mediator specializing in resolution of complex, multi-party litigations. He has worked with diverse organizations including Alcatel USA, American Vintners Association, Chevron Oil, Genesys Telecommunications Labs, Home Credit Bank (Russia), Kaiser Permanente, Mondragon Cooperative (Spain), Pacific Gas and Electric, and The Lowe’s Companies, among many others.

In the 1980s, Grayson was CEO of Independent Learning Schools, Inc., a nationally acclaimed multi-campus private school system in the San Francisco Bay Area that was cited as a model school for the future by George Leonard in Esquire Magazine and in Leonard’s groundbreaking book, “Education and Ecstasy”. He has founded, led and served on numerous non-profit boards and associations, and is the global trainer for facilitators of The Samurai Game®, which has been called the most unique, intense and transformative experiential leadership and team-building simulation anywhere.
