Guillaume Devauchelle is Valeo Group Innovation & Scientific Development Vice-President.
Prior to this he was Deputy General Manager of "Valeo Electronic & Connective Systems".
He joined the VALEO Group in 2000 after the acquisition of the company Sylea where he occupied the function of Research and Development Vice-President.Guillaume Devauchelle made his entire career in the Automotive and Aeronautics Industry and has a Master’s degree from "Ecole Centrale de Paris" (1981).
On both the hardware and software side there’s a significant investment, so any ‘platform’ – both on and off the vehicle — is built on stable, long-term bricks.
The automotive community has certainly discussed, if not understood, the impending complexity of the connected car with upwards of a billion lines of code expected. There has been little comprehension, though, of the enormous complexity required to test the upcoming use cases.
