With over 22 years of consistent sobriety, Harriet has worked with hundreds of women who suffer with alcoholism and drug addiction to help them find peace in active sobriety. She spent sixteen years facilitating AA meetings for women incarcerated, and continues to sponsor women both face-to-face and on line.

Who knows more: a doctor, a counselor, or someone who has been in the trenches for 30 years dual addicted to alcoholism and drugs? Harriet has intimate knowledge on the day-to-day challenges addicts and alcoholics face. Most importantly, years of volunteer work with others in addiction combined with her own personal struggles continues to prove that relapse doesn’t have to be a part of our story. She conveys an understated confidence and can connect to your audience with ease and assurance.

Her book, Miracles of Recovery: Daily Meditations of Hope, Courage and Faith, was awarded the First Place Gold recipient of the coveted President’s Award in non-fiction from the Florida Authors and Publishers Association. The book has achieved Amazon Best Seller status numerous times. Miracles of Recovery offers 365-powerful daily inspirations based on the A.A. 12 Step Program.
