John Loper is an Associate Professor of Real Estate (Teaching) in the undergraduate and graduate real estate programs in the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California. Prior to teaching, John has 25 years of real estate development experience managing a master planned community, development and redevelopment of retail centers, adaptive reuse of retail and mixed-use development integrating residential into an existing retail center and residential developments. He also has a real estate consulting firm, Palm Tree Communities Consulting, Inc. which assists developers with entitlements and project management.
