PBS is a locally owned builder of custom, luxury homes, and commercial projects with a great community reputation and an amazing corporate culture. Recently celebrating its 35th year in business, the company’s purpose statement is “We Build Better Lives for our Team, for our Clients, and for our Community.” The purpose statement is supported through the adoption of 28 Fundamental principles that include such things as, "Do the Right Thing Always", "Listen Generously", "Assume Positive Intent", and "Take Responsibility for Achieving Results". These fundamentals are not merely hung on walls but are embraced at every level of the organization, guide decision-making, and are reinforced on a weekly basis at meetings and in discussions.
