I have been a dietitian for eleven years, with six years of experience of individual nutrition counseling, both in-person and virtually. Counseling topics include weight stabilization, diabetes, heart disease, IBS and family feeding. More recently, I have transitioned to a Health at Every Size, Intuitive Eating approach to help clients with behavior change using a weight-neutral approach. Appointments include individualized nutrition plans, goal setting, and motivational interviewing.
I received my Group Fitness Instructor Certification in July 2020 through NAFC, and teach virtual fitness classes with the Vfit Studio. Prior to this, I worked at Women, Infants and Children (WIC) for five years, and as a consultant dietitian in long term care facilities for two years. I enjoy a more personal setting and getting to know patients one-on-one. Fitness has always been a huge part of my life and sharing that with others brings me a lot of joy.
