Lavdena A. Orr is Market Chief Medical Officer for AmeriHealth Caritas District of Columbia (DC).

Orr is responsible for overseeing the development of clinical policies, clinical programs, and quality initiatives to improve Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) and Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) performance, as well as interfacing with enrollees, physicians, government representatives, and community-based organizations. In addition, Orr provides medical oversight to the Integrated Health Care Management department. She also serves as chair of the Credentialing Committee, chair of the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement Committee, and a member of the Appeals Committee.
