Maria is the co-founder and general manager of Agroapoyo, an agriculture NGO working with communities of smallholder and Indigenous farmers throughout Ecuador, to bring their products to local and international markets. Navarez primary focus supports the development of women who make up more than 70% of the farming workforce and Agroapoyo staff.
