Privacy and security law expert with over a decade of experience helping companies evaluate, manage, refine, and enhance their data protection practices and compliance. As co-leader of the Digital Assets & Data Management Group’s Privacy Governance and Technology Transactions Team, and leader of the firm’s EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) initiative, Melinda's work currently focuses on proactive privacy and security counseling, including negotiating complex tech transactions, cross-border data protection issues, and the regulation of emerging technologies.
