In 1989 I sat on the steps of the U.S. Capitol for the first time. In that moment, as I looked up at our flag and across the lawn I knew politics would be my future. Nearly 20 years to the day after that pivotal moment, I began a summer internship with my congressman. That experience turned into the beginning of what has been one of the greatest journeys of my life.
Prior to my current position with the Foundation for Government Accountability, more than 20 different non-profit organizations, political campaigns, and advocacy groups contracted my services over ten years to develop and implement communications strategies aimed at connecting with conservative audiences on a human level.
I have had the opportunity advise elected leaders and candidates from the local to the federal level. And my work in strategic communications with nonprofits advocating for free market principles has moved countless Americans closer to their American Dream.
Today, I proudly count myself among the few women pollsters on the conservative Right and continue to serve as a strategic advisor to campaigns and nonprofit organizations.
My editorials have been published at Townhall, The Boston Herald, Detroit News, The Times and Democrat, Prescott News, the Marietta Daily Journal, and InsideSources. My polling and analysis can be found at the Center for Excellence in Polling. And recently, famed conservative talk-radio host Stacy Washington of “Stacy on the Right” graciously brought me on as a featured guest to share my thoughts on the new Georgia election law. That appearance reached the ears of more than 9 million listeners.
During the last year alone, I have authored and analyzed more than 100 public opinion polls and seven focus groups. I developed an editing and design staff that has produced several hundred pieces of collateral, more than 100 editorials, and several short videos utilized by state legislators, members of Congress, Secretaries of State, Governors, and the White House.
The journey has been remarkable—and I owe my success to those who were willing to invest in me and then hand me the reins.
Learning from and, in some cases, even work alongside truly remarkable people such as former Speaker Newt Gingrich, Dick Morris, Stephen Moore, Grover Norquist, Andrew Breitbart, Senator John Boozman, Herman Cain, Congressman Steve Womack, and many others has been the thrill of a lifetime.
Let’s have a conversation to strategize ways for improving how you or your organization connects with the public. My passion is your success.
