Methane emissions expert -
Steve is a PhD physicist who co-founded Kairos Aerospace in 2014. Kairos conducts large-scale aerial methane emission surveys to pinpoint the largest leaks in a time- and cost-efficient manner. As a result of covering entire basins repeatedly, Steve and the Kairos team have a wealth of information on the source and patterns of methane emissions, industry insights and response, and why emissions are becoming a mainstream climate change hot topic.
Prior to founding Kairos, Steve was a research manager at the Lockheed Martin Solar and Astrophysics Laboratory. He has worked on a variety of NASA- and DARPA-funded programs, including cryogenic detector programs, solar physics experiments and radiation modeling for spacecraft.
