The Awards, with strictly defined criteria for each category and a transparent selection process helmed by a bench of 33 judges, saw over 800 entries. The Young Leader, Woman Leader, InsurTech, Innovation and Technology Initiative categories saw the most amount of entries. In the first round, the Judges have gone through the entries based on a 1,200-word write-up. The whole process is audited by KPMG.

Now in its 22nd year, the AIIA has become a much sought-after mark of excellence and peer group endorsement for insurance players and professionals in the market.

The Awards have been hosted annually since 1997 by Asia Insurance Review, the voice of the insurance industry of Asia for the past 27 years.
