At the spring editions of the Africa Fintech Summit, it has been our pleasure to present the Annual Excellence in Fintech awards. Ever since the first AFTS in Washington, DC back in April 2018, AFTS has seeked to recognize startups holistically that are actively changing the financial landscape across Africa.
The AFTS Excellence in Fintech Awards are unique because they CANNOT BE PURCHASED – unlike many other award initiatives from companies and conferences across the globe. The AFTS Team, combined with insights from the AFTS Advisory Board and public input from a rolling nominations form, decide the winner of each award.
