The Innovators in Healthcare event and special section will recognize Boston’s best and brightest in health care, across multiple categories of innovation, from doctors and nurses in hospitals to home health providers, mental wellness caregivers and researchers focused on improving the human condition.

Categories:
Entrepreneur: This award honors an entrepreneur in healthcare who is making strides in the industry.
Researcher: This award honors someone who breaks ground in the health care field by developing or implementing new technology, treatments or programs with wide applications.
Health Equity Champion: This award honors someone who has worked to break down inequities in health care or health care access for underserved populations or areas, including but not limited to race, gender, sexual orientation or socioeconomic status.
Community Health: This category honors those devoted to improving care at community health centers.
Volunteer: Honors a person not employed in the health care field but who has a significant impact volunteer work.
