In 2019 we hosted the first ever “East Midlands Finance Awards” and it’s safe to say a great night was had by all. With a few sore heads the next day too. Sadly, for obvious reasons we have been unable to continue running the awards in 2020 and 2021, but we are delighted to welcome it back this year.
The EMFA is designed by Accountancy & Finance professionals, for Accountancy & Finance professionals. And we have more reasons to celebrate them than ever due to the last couple of years. Navigating everything from furlough schemes to tight reporting deadlines, coupled with teams scuppered by remote working, home schooling and isolation challenges. The list goes on.
We believe that the East Midlands is the best place in the UK to build a career in the industry and wanted to create an event which recognised this.
