The Institutional Asset Management Awards, in association with Pension Bridge, is the most prestigious awards program of its kind in North America. With a independent and rigorous judging process, winning an IAMA will directly lead to new allocations, improved inflows, and greater recognition from the institutional investment world.

A revitalised awards program that will recognize and reward the institutional asset management industry for performance and excellence across various strategies, enabling asset managers to benchmark and prove themselves against their competition. Using a brand new quantitative and qualitative judging methodology, heavily researched with our advisory board and the market to ensure the metrics and weightings are reflective of investment decisions being made by CIO’s.

The fund categories are open to any funds that have institutional investors, including, but not limited to, SMAs.

The judging will be 2-stage. The first stage will use purely the quantitative elements to derive leader boards from the entries. These leader boards will inform and populate the shortlists for each category, who will go through to the second stage of judging where a panel of independent and impartial judges from Institutional Investors and Consultants will ensure firstly that the data is correct and will use their knowledge and the qualitative elements of the entry process to decide on the winners by category.

The awards are split into 4 category groups, with 2 sets of fund performance categories, consultant categories and investor categories.
