The Most Admired CEO Awards honor outstanding chief executives (and those holding equivalent titles — including, but not limited to, owner, executive director, president and managing principal) in the Sacramento metropolitan area leading for‐profit and nonprofit companies.

An outstanding CEO is an innovator, standard‐bearer, role model and exceptional leader. Their contributions impact the organization they head as well as the community in which they serve. A commitment to financial success, quality, workplace wellness, diversity and philanthropy are hallmarks of an exceptional and admired chief executive.

The Sacramento Business Journal will honor the Most Admired CEOs for their invaluable contributions to the Sacramento region at a celebratory awards dinner in March of 2022 and they will be profiled in a special section of the Business Journal.

Winners will be selected in the categories below:

• Micro: companies with 10 to 24 employees
• Small: companies with 25 to 49 employees
• Medium: companies with 50 to 149 employees
• Large: companies with 150 to 499 employees
• Mega: companies with over 500 employees
• Nonprofit
• Education / Civic / Government
