We are now back to something like normal in our social and business lives, but some changes will be long lasting. The arguments about working from home will continue for some time. However, many of the improvements adopted in platform and retail investment world, such as digital signatures and Zoom client meetings will be permanent.

This year, we will begin to see legislation on the biggest companies in terms of ESG disclosure. Whilst regulation might take somewhat longer, all players in the sector appreciate that climate change and improvements in employment conditions and in governance matter now and will do more so.

All such changes will be recognised in this year’s awards judging.
