The tax-efficient sector continue to play an ever larger role within the wider investment world and this is reflected by the success of the Investment Week awards

The landscape of a changing pensions regime and continued restrictions in buy-to-let plus increasing interest early-stage investing - and the government's own interest in promoting so-called patient capital - mean that interest in the tax-efficient sector both at an industry and investor level has never been so high.

The sector has come through the recent spate of new rules and regulations and is now looking to a stable future and with more opportunities than ever to invest. The tax-efficient sector can play a vital role, filling in the early-stage investment gap while encouraging the entrepreneurial community to ever greater success and at an important time for the country.

These awards are designed to recognise the most successful and forward-thinking providers in the areas of VCTs, EIS and BPR/IHT. Alongside performance criteria, the awards will acknowledge the degree to which each provider helped promote a greater understanding of the sector and its benefits with investors and, crucially, advisers.

The awards will be judged by a respected panel of advisors and sector watchers.
