The Treasury of the Year award is presented annually by the editorial staff of the Treasurer. He should make a contribution to help the Treasury Department deserved recognition. All companies (outside the financial sector) in German-speaking countries who have completed a project within twelve months before the application deadline can apply. From the applications the Treasurer-Redaktion forms a shortlist of the best projects. For a most objective evaluation, all exposés are anonymized. A jury evaluated the proposals with a points system. The jury includes corporate treasurers as well as representatives of banks and financial service providers.
