GlobalTrading, a Markets Media Group publication, is pleased to present the fifth annual Women in Finance Asia Awards, which is anticipated to take place in Spring 2023. The inaugural WIFAA program, held at Four Seasons Hong Kong in 2019, was a great success with 150 top executives and 14 winners representing many of the top traders, technologists and senior capital markets executives in Asia. The event pivoted to a virtual format in 2020-2022 and expanded to more than 20 awards with winners from BlackRock, Credit Suisse, HSBC Asset Management and other large, influential global financial firms. The three virtual programs were successful and well-received by winners, supporters, and sponsoring firms alike. But we all look forward to returning to the energy, spirit and fun that only in-person events can provide. Last year’s WIFAA winners included some of the most dynamic and accomplished professional women who have made their names in the financial centers of Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney. Winners included Cindy Lai of JP Morgan Asset Management for Excellence in Asset Management; Mariko Ishikawa of Credit Suisse for Trailblazer; Laura Atherley of Citi for Excellence in Leadership; and Rachel Lord of BlackRock for Lifetime Achievement.
