The theme of the 2019 event is “Queensland’s Transport Future – Moving People and Places”. The 2- day conference will not only highlight the major transport infrastructure projects in the pipeline for the State but also showcase innovative new digital trends and industry game changers such as the rise of disruptive applications and their convergence with transport infrastructure.

A premiere infrastructure event with 20+ expert speakers and over 200 delegates in attendance annually, the conference will be an exciting hub of knowledge sharing and networking with government, private organisations and industry experts. As part of its strong plan for a bright future, the Queensland Government is committed to delivering better infrastructure by building a transport system that supports the needs of a growing population. The Queensland Transport Roads and Investment Program QTRIP 2018-19 to 2021-22 outlines $21.7 billion in transport and road infrastructure over the next four years, estimated to support an average of 19,200 direct jobs over the life of the program.

Through a mix of keynote presentations and panel discussions, the conference will feature the latest updates on the State’s transport projects such as Cross River Rail, Brisbane Metro, CAVI Project, MacKay Ring Road, Smithfield Bypass, Inland Rail, Sunshine Coast Airport, Townsville Channel Capacity Upgrade as well as provide a platform for examining the intersection of disruptive technology and infrastructure.
