The North Africa Trade Finance Summit (NATF 2022) has been specifically designed to promote and facilitate dialogue on international trade and export finance among the North African countries by convening the various Ministries, Government Authorities, Regulators, Top Exporting Companies, Banking & Financial Institutions, Insurers and Fintech innovators across the region.

The two-day in-person event will gather the entire realm of the finance industry to discuss promoting intra-African and international trade, enabling expansion into new diversified markets, address major challenges in accessing trade finance & credit insurance solutions, technology integrations enabling the sector’s development while also addressing the specific trade finance challenges faced by each of the North African countries.

The growing protectionism globally as well as over-reliance on single commodity exports have pushed the need for increased cooperation between the various African countries to enable common development and economic diversification. The event aims to drive intra-African trade to promote cooperation, common prosperity and self-reliance, achieve resilience & profitability in export trade amidst fluctuating economic climate, achieve trade optimization by enabling adequate access to trade finance and credit insurance solutions as well as place high emphasis on the digitization of trade finance to augment sector development.
