In September, Swiss voters rejected the Federal Council's "Alterreform 2020". This means that the need for reform is increasing. If the pillars of old-age provision are to be placed on a stable foundation, it is not likely to extend the working life. Yet there are still no political majorities. First pension funds have already reduced their conversion rates to under 5. This parameter can not be ordered politically without endangering the system in the long term.

Large uncertainties still prevail in the financial markets, which makes asset management more and more challenging for pension funds. Is it enough to diversify the portfolio broadly and everything is going well? Many funds make insufficient returns. The 10th Swiss Leadership Pensions Forum 2017 is looking for more stable precaution and higher revenues in its expert panels.

And not only that: foundations of pension funds are between the hammer of the insured and the anvil of their experts. After many banks have waited too long with the adjustment of the conversion rates and the technical interest rate, they now often act with caution. The jubilee forum asks what makes the Foundation Board function more attractive again.

Two presentations complement the three panels. The program is initiated and completed by two keynote speeches. Professor Reiner Eichenberger from the University of Friborg is known for naming things by name. This also applies to the publicist and journalist Werner Vontobel, who will be listening to you in the afternoon.
