• The Internal Revenue Service announced that its forthcoming regulation, which essentially waives Required Minimum Distributions for inherited individual retirement accounts subject to the Secure Act’s 10-year rule, will apply starting next year. The implementation date was delayed due to consumers’ confusion about the new rules.

• The CFPB issued a report on College Banking and Credit Card Agreements, illustrating that the use of such products has declined since passage of the CARD Act in 2009.
