The global economic landscape has shifted drastically over the last five years. The emerging markets of the past two decades have shown slowing growth, partly due to socio-economic shifts such as a growing middle class and changing consumption patterns particularly in China and India. These changes have also been exacerbated by the aftershocks of the global financial crisis, oil price decline, and political instability.

At this year’s Emerging Markets Conference, Kellogg will host leading executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and economic thinkers for a discussion on the current state of emerging markets. We will examine how the “old guard” of emerging markets — Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, among others — are faring in the challenging climate, while also looking ahead to the high-growth markets of tomorrow.
