This event will provide a platform to discuss international practices that can help the Asian Development Bank’s developing member countries such as Indonesia transition into a low-carbon economy and pursue a green, resilient, and inclusive COVID-19 recovery. With the theme “A Just and Affordable Transition toward Net Zero,” the ICCC will showcase various initiatives taken by Indonesia on climate change, discuss constraints the country faces in addressing climate change, and identify possible solutions. It will highlight the role of multilateral development partners like ADB in delivering climate solutions to Indonesia, especially on how to strengthen the country’s resilience through climate change mitigation, adaptation, and green recovery.

Objectives
The conference will discuss the challenges and opportunities of pursuing a green, inclusive and resilient recovery from COVID-19 and provide a platform to discuss international good practices that can help ADB's developing members countries to pursue a just and affordable transition to a low carbon and resilient economy.
