With Digital Literacy Programme (DLP) and The National Optic Fibre Backbone Initiative ( NOFBI) ensuring connectivity in all the 47 counties, Kenya stands ahead of its neighbours in competition to introduce technology in daily life and rely on it for growth. The introduced laws for data protection also enable the citizens to make more use of the internet with enhanced privacy and safety. M-pesa has been a key transaction enabler in almost all the sectors in the region. With projects like Konza Technopolis taking off with a possibility of fresh investments, the coming years will see superlative growth in the region.
Bricsa Consulting has been exploring ICT potential related to BFSI, Healthcare, Transportation, Agriculture and Education industry. The 3rd Annual Information Communication Technology (ICT) – Africa is a two-day closed-door program focussed on investment opportunities and technological advancements in the dynamically progressive economies in the region with the motive to promote foreign direct investment (FDI) and public-private partnerships (PPP). We look forward to welcoming the key decision makers from both public and private sectors to enable this programme to be a successful effort towards a sustainable future.
