The presentation addresses the notion and the complexities of smart contracts in the context of using blockchain within the (re)insurance industry. In particular, the presenter will focus on how to transform a traditional contract into a smart contract, and how to make it legally binding, and fit for purpose, particularly with reference to practices in the (re)insurance industry.
