The earlier industrial revolutions involved transitions from small, artisanal businesses to mass production and mechanical, repetitive tasks for a large percentage of worldwide employees. This pre-millennial model involved strictly scheduled office hours, homogeneous and uniformly-designed workspaces, and extraneous overheads on core productivity and budgets.

Today, we live in a new digital age known as the fourth industrial era where business framework will be rapidly changing. A lot of routine procedures are being taken over by machines, and exploration, creativity and flexibility — the natural characteristics of human endeavour — will be reinstated as drivers and measures of success.
