Many projects are currently on hold, larger investments have been slowed down by the rise in interest rates. Not so in the state capital Düsseldorf, which is experiencing a real investment boom in the city center around the Königsallee shopping mile. The planned Calatrava Boulevard, the new office and commercial building Le Coeur and the conversion of the Carsch building into KaDeWe will give the city center a new look. Climate protection is right at the top of the agenda for current urban developments. New regulations such as the forthcoming Building Efficiency Directive must be taken into account in the planning. The actors at this event will discuss how to master the challenges of a liveable city of the future.
