ACAMS offers, with support from FEBRABAN, the first regional professional money laundering prevention (PLD) certification program. The one-day seminars, in addition to counting as certification credits, prepare candidates for the Money Laundering Prevention® (CAMS) Certified Specialist exam.
These seminars address issues related to the risks and methods of money laundering, focusing on international bodies and rules, and on anti-money laundering prevention and control investigations, which together form the four pillars of the anti-money laundering prevention and control program. money laundry. We also included a specific module on the Brazilian PLD legislation, addressing:
• Law 12,683 relating to money laundering crimes;
• Main regulatory instructions from BACEN, CVM and SUSEP;
• Customer identification and classification, registration testing and updating, monitoring and registration of operations, document custody and PPE;
