AFIRE is the association for international real estate investors focused on commercial property in the United States.

Established in 1988 as an essential forum for real estate investment thought leadership, AFIRE members gather throughout the year to help each other become Better Investors, Better Leaders, and Better Global Citizens through conversations, research, and analysis of real estate capital markets, cross-border issues, policy, economics, technology, and management.

Dialogue fostered by AFIRE is designed to help members gain competitive advantage through strategic and operational thought leadership, and to help improve the global real estate investment industry as a whole.

Membership
Representing the “who’s who” in the global real estate investment industry, AFIRE membership is exclusive to principals and senior executives. Membership is granted on a corporate basis and by invitation only.

Events
Meetings are a core activity at AFIRE, held throughout the year around the globe. All AFIRE events are unique both in the caliber of people in the room and the quality of the discussion. As part of AFIRE’s House Rules, all discussions are interactive and protected – and no one “pitches” their business. Event attendance is restricted to members and invited guests.

Insight
To support the discussion beyond meetings, AFIRE publishes research, analysis, and original thought leadership that includes SUMMIT, the AFIRE journal of ideas, insights, and member points of view; surveys on cross-border investing, leadership, and management best practices; and publications, including the AFIRE Guide to US Real Estate Investing.
