Created in 2005, Cartes Afrique is the annual exhibition of card and identification technologies dedicated exclusively to French-speaking Africa, a region composed of 32 countries and a population of some 410 million inhabitants. Cartes Afrique is organized by i-conferences, regional leader in the organization of B2B conferences dedicated to the promotion of South-South partnership.
In 2018, Cartes Afrique changed its name to Africa Pay & ID Expo, in order to support the strong changes experienced by the payment industry in the region.
Organized around two days dedicated to card technologies, biometrics, government and payment solutions, Africa Pay & ID Expo brings together in a single space the conferences and the exhibition in order to create the necessary dynamics for all the stakeholders of the event.
