Mayer Brown are delighted to invite you to an informative evening with TPR’s Head of Enforcement and a member of its in-house legal team to discuss the TPR’s new criminal and penalty powers in the avoidance space, as well as the changes to the Regulator’s contribution notice power.
The session will comprise a presentation followed by time for questions, and will come after the closure of the consultation periods on the Regulator’s draft policies on its approach to overlapping powers and its new high fining powers, and following publication of its finalised policy approach to its new criminal powers.
The TPR speakers will cover:
• The changes to TPR powers;
• TPR’s approach to the new criminal offences in its published policy; and
• A summary of some of the themes raised by consultation responses on TPR’s overlapping powers and high fining powers and how TPR intends to respond to them.
