The GBS Investor Conference and Awards is the flagship event of the South African Global Business Services Sector. Proudly hosted by trade body and sector association – BPESA, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) and host city Durban, KwaZulu Natal.

The event incorporates numerous activities for both the local GBS and BPO community as well as visiting investors.

Your participation is requested to aid in shaping and stimulating the African economy, and in doing so positively transforming the social and economic framework of tomorrow. The event is design to attract the interest of local and international stakeholders seeking value in their GBS investments and wishing to make a real impact by contributing to the country’s economic development and social transformation discussion.

Aimed at showcasing the distinctive empathetic attitude and value potential of our youth, the conference theme will be on Impact Sourcing – inclusive hiring, for real impact and real value. In addition, the event will offer an integrated experience of the digital world in which we live and compete, with global leading technology companies committing their involvement to this cause.

The two-day conference will be complemented with an exhibition of products and services on offer from South African based organisations, and regional government agencies and departments having a platform to showcase the richness of choice across our many regions and cities. International guests will be invited to arrive earlier to immerse themselves in the hospitality and experience of the host city Durban, KZN and to engage in site visits to our ‘best-in-class’ GBS operations and hold meetings with business and government role players.

The BPESA National award winners will be celebrated amidst the international investors on the evening of the 19th November at a Cocktail event and the 21st November at the closing banquet. These winners will demonstrate the depth and breadth of talent and business capability in South Africa.
