The Minnesota Chamber’s event will provide members the opportunity to hear from national policy leaders and advocate for business priorities with members of the Minnesota elected delegation. An election year and the race for president continue to dominate the headlines and permeates the environment in Washington, D.C.. Conflict across the globe is forefront in American foreign policy and global business activity, however, key policy issues remain in front of Congress. Breaking the logjam on immigration reform, advancing legislation on tax issues like the R & D tax credit and environmental permitting reform are just a few of the issues that will be addressed during our visit with the Minnesota delegation and key agency leaders. The event will include briefings with organizations like the U.S. Chamber, individual meetings with the delegation, a special briefings with policy and administration leaders.
