With the seminar, we convey the essential requirements for the risk management system of a fund company to the participants in a compact form. It focuses on the classification of the risk management system in the internal organizational structure of the company and the practical implementation of the individual processes from the new product process, risk measurement for individual asset classes such as securities, real estate and loan investments to the transfer of risk-relevant data to the supervisory authority to monitor the financial market.
Using the risk management process explained, the participants should be able to derive the interaction of the risks at different levels (individual security, fund, overall fund, company level). In addition, the participants develop a deeper understanding of the regulatory requirements using example calculations.
