These are exciting times for the city of Bath, with its draw as a popular tourist and retail destination as strong as ever and a major injection of new commercial property space around the corner in the form of the Bath Quays development. With two new sport stadiums in the planning and a range of new residential developments under way in the city and surrounding towns and villages, there’s a lot happening in the area. But what will Bath and North East Somerset be like for the next generation? A child born in 2019 will be graduating into the world of work in the year 2040. Insider’s Bath and North East Somerset 2040 breakfast poses the question of what the region specifically and the world of work generally will be like for them.
