Post the referendum result the UK equity market has fallen deeply out of favour with asset allocators – survey data consistently reveals that sentiment towards the UK market is the worst it has been for 20yrs. Brexit uncertainty has created a number of headwinds for the UK economy but after a significant de-rating in UK equities is this now presenting an investment opportunity? In our second session, Alex Breese from Schroders will examine the key fundamentals for the UK equity market, discuss what has changed post the referendum and outline the implications for investors.
