As double minorities who work in an industry that has historically struggled with diversity, equity, and inclusion, Black Women are bound to experience feelings of doubt and inadequacy. We know that systemic oppression, subtle and complex bias, and a lack of representation at leadership levels are major factors in fostering these feelings as Black Women find their place “corporate America”.

But we also know that the the bond between Black Women is rooted in honesty, love, commitment, and forgiveness. The sisterhood that is inherent to who we are as Black Women has been the key to our resilience, courage and strength in our communities and in our homes.

It is the goal of this events to normalize sisterhood in the workplace so Black Women can learn to navigate and embrace their professional trauma, brand their authenticity on their terms, and work together to author their own destiny.
